What is the GSM on fabrics?Updated 2 months ago

GSM stands for grams per square meter. It is a unit of measurement for the weight or density of a fabric, and the higher the GSM, the heavier a fabric will be. For example, a t-shirt made of a lightweight cotton fabric may have a GSM of around 120, while a heavy wool fabric for coats may have a GSM of 400 or more.

To find the GSM of a specific fabric, look on the product page in the "Product Specifications" tab, where it will be listed as "Industry Weight."

If the product you are interested in does not list this information, please reach out to our customer service department, and we will be happy to assist you.
